The ability to press a key to jump to the first menu option beginning with that key (or to execute the shortcut if it is the only one beginning with the letter) has gone. I can’t find a setting to turn it back on.

I thought it was a beta bug. I hope this feature returns.
On the plus side, GREAT JOB! The Open Editor is lightning-fast, now.
Cheers,
Mitch

Alas, noone mentioned this during three weeks since beta 🙂
You still can assign hot-char for the shortcut by inserting “&” symbol before letter

Thanks Pavel. Will the old behaviour return at some point?

hi, thanks for great job as usual
comments for v2:
– in Settings\options\appearance, I can change the font Quality but not the font (message like “any font found, please install …”)
– in the tree editor, the menu font looks like Times New Roman while Tahoma is chosen
– in “My icons” window, icons resolution seems lower
suggestion:
– for menu folder navigation, could you plan to delete the line “- Open -” and remplace it by a double cliq on the root
(I use XP SP2)

The font for the editor tree will be changeable a bit later, may be a one update after
Thank for letting me know about problem with the font selection on XP, it will be fixed in next update
If under “My Icons” you see icons with low resolution, it means this icon doesn’t have 32×32 icon inside, and we show you the maximum available. So, if you use 16×16 icons for your menu, this shouldn’t bother you
Unfortunately we can’t know when user make double click on the item which opens menu, so the – Open – item only way to open folder. Will it be better to change this item’s name? May be to name of the folder which we going to open?

you’re right, I use 24×24 icons but all “my icons” are from 32 to 256 px. in use everything is OK except in “my icons” browser. just a light problem
about “Open” command, is it possible to imagine to keep this line, with a separator, always on the top (without scroll)
last point, the more important to me:
in folder menu mode, the folders content are not refresh. (the way I use to force that when I want to be sure that the lists are up to date, is to open and close the editor …)
thanks for your attention

Thank you, it was a significant problem, which should be fixed now ( in next update )
